Dr. Douglas J. Rowles is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and naturopathic doctor with over 29 years of experience, specializing in sports medicine and regenerative treatments, including stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. He earned his medical degree from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Unifor
Dr. Douglas J. Rowles is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and naturopathic doctor with over 29 years of experience, specializing in sports medicine and regenerative treatments, including stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. He earned his medical degree from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, followed by an internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. Dr. Rowles furthered his expertise with a prestigious sports medicine fellowship at the Methodist Sports Medicine Institute in Indianapolis, IN, where he also served as an assistant team physician for the Indianapolis Colts.
A retired Commander (CDR) with 24 years of service in the United States Navy, Dr. Rowles brings a disciplined, patient-focused approach to his practice, shaped by his military experience. He served as ship’s doctor on the USS South Carolina, CGN-37, deployed several times including to Kuwait and Afghanistan, and treated Navy Seals while stationed in Hawaii.
After his naval service, he served as a Clinical Associate Professor at OU Health Physicians in Oklahoma City, OK, from 2015 to 2024, where he was affiliated with OU Health - University of Oklahoma Medical Center and Oklahoma City VA Medical Center.
In 2022, Dr. Rowles completed his Naturopathic training. This additional training has greatly supplemented his education and ability to provide holistic and natural treatment options for his patients, as well as to greatly improve the results of stem cell therapy.
Now, Dr. Rowles dedicates his expertise to his innovative stem cell injection practice, leveraging cutting-edge regenerative techniques to promote natural healing and restore joint function. Renowned for his compassionate care and exceptional outcomes, with patient ratings averaging 4.8 to 5 stars, he is committed to helping patients regain mobility and live pain-free through advanced, non-surgical solutions.
